Hmmm... you must be talking to someone else *grin*

    >I'm using some batch jobs that send some huge files (around 40GB or more)
to a Windows server. At some point of time (not specific), the job is
aborted. I'm having some troubles, because it is >necessary to run those
jobs again and I spend much of time. The Windows support team searched for
some related problems and there's no issue regarding AIX to Windows FTP
transfer. The >network is also ok.

This really does sound like a network issue. These things happen.

But instead of chasing down the cause, a good alternative (if it suits
your situation) could be to get a windows ftp program which will attempt
to resume the download should an interruption occcur ( sorry I don't have
a product name for you ). After all, with 40 Gig you are talking about
ftp'ing for a fair period of time - you never really want to get to 39.9
Gig transmitted, have an issue and then have to re-send the whole file.

    I hope this helps,

    Bruce Whittaker.
