I have a P655 running AIX 5.2. Web guys wanted to move web server off
older box (AIX 4.3.3 ML11) running iPlanet to the P655. Corp-IT has
dropped iPlanet for Apache. We wanted to do the same. Tried to install
IBM's Apache implementation off the Bonus CD that came with AIX 5.3 base
CD's. Could not figure out how to install, since not really a LPP
package. Somehow, I think I got it to install, but web-master says it
does not run correctly. Gives errors about can't find dynamic libraries.
So, want to just start over!
Where should I get Apache for AIX 5.2?
How should I install it? (Found a site to download real Apache for AIX,
but it was an RPM.)
Any other info you care to share.
