    Hi,

We have a fresh install of AIX 5.3 :

    # uname -a
    AIX dmcsfreme15 3 5 0041B24A4C00

However, there are a collection of about 300 files, including files in
/usr/bin, which have all permission bits set to zero, for instance :

    # ls -l /usr/bin/mpstat /usr/bin/lparstat /usr/bin/nslookup /usr/bin/truss
    ---------- 1 bin bin 45332 Oct 11 2004 /usr/bin/lparstat
    ---------- 1 bin bin 24700 Nov 02 2004 /usr/bin/mpstat
    ---------- 1 root system 73644 Sep 16 2004 /usr/bin/nslookup
    ---------- 1 root system 129304 Sep 24 2004 /usr/bin/truss

Do you have any idea of what happened ? Is there an installation bug ?

    Thanks.
