    It works, but it's terribly slow (because of the distance between the server
    and my local box).

    Am i using the good technology ?

    Should I take a look at vnc ? FreenX ?

    Cyril,

    On the H80 AIX 4.3.3 system set "X11Forwarding yes" in sshd_config.
     From linux ssh -X h80.host.

    man ssh
    man sshd
