Thanks, John.
I should be able to find the readmes myself.
I've got ML06 downloaded ready to go, but I'll double check those fixes and
any other recommended fixes before I proceed.
I might consider ML07, but it's a bit soon for me: I hope to do the first
couple of systems this month and the remaining two by the end of January.
(Only four servers in total at the moment.)
Thanks also to Mark.
The F50 is just our CWS, so there's no Oracle on there to worry about. The
other boxes are p660-6H1s so they shouldn't cause any problems. I'll be
wary of the memory use; we already have a memory upgrade planned for one of
the servers. (The other main Oracle server already has ample memory - I
hope!)
I'm not interested in JFS2 at this time, so I'll stick with a Migration.
It looks like I need to take some care with the maintenance level since both
you and John mention it.

ML7 will be due by January by that rule. I'm already fiddling with it in NIM, but, a bird in the hand... I can forward you the readme's for the APAR's if you need. Obviously I'll go through the IBM Installation guides and the release notes etc but is there anything I should be aware of that isn't covered in them, or which I might miss? Servers are an F50 and some p660-6H1s, using SSA of various types. It's a PSSP cluster - hence 5.2, not 5.3. CWS is already at PSSP 3.5 and the nodes will be upgraded to that. Applications are primarily SAP and Oracle. There's also a TSM server, (TSM will be updated), with a FC LTO Ultrium tape library. -- Simon Green Altria ITSC Europe s.a.r.l.
