    are you running any application into your users' .profile? does that application has all the resources it need to run?
    are your users' accounts configured to a valid shell? lsuser -f or smit user as root and check your users' account settings.
    for each user what ps -u <user> shows? is there any hung processes?

    I have a system experiencing login problems....

    Users can enter their ID and Password.. and then it hangs once the MOTD
    message is displayed.
    Root can login with no issues....

    Both telnet and rlogin are having the same symptom..

    Any ideas?
