"which executable" will tell you what path "executable" will be executed
from where "executable" is whatever command you are trying to find.

Subject: Command which gives the location of a command
I'm running AIX 4.3.3 on an RS6000 - model F50.
What is the command you use to find the location
of a command?
i.e. command_to_use command_to_find_location
Thanks,
