One place to look is in the AIX Release Notes, which you should find
referenced from the main documentation pages, and I think also from the
    maintenance-level download page.

    Try here...
    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/pseries/index.jsp
    ...and look under "AIX resources".

I think that AIX 5.3 will work on any CHRP box, but no others. You'll need
to check the individual adapters and other devices you have installed in it.

I couldn't find any hardware info for running AIX 5.3 at IBM web site.
I have a 43P 260 box, anyone know this box can run AIX 5.3 or not.
    Thanks,
    Frank
