I didnt mean that you should connect the p520 to the hmc
try to connect a laptop (f.e. with linux) to it and use the hmc-port on
the p520 for this
however, you have to configure the ip-adress of the laptop correctly,
afair subnet 192.168.2.x

The connection to HMC does not work. I tried both, HMC1 and HMC2.

get a laptop and connect it to the p520 (hmc-connection) to get into
ASM. I am not sure about ip-config and if you need a crossover-cable, I
havent done this for much time

in ASM you can reset the admin-pwd

Hi all,

I am in a process of migrating 5.2 to 5.3, I did something wrong and now
I am getting 0554 code when the box's trying to start. I know what went
wrong, and I want to boot from the CD#1 to correct it.

The problem is I am unable to do it. The box is ignoring F5 to boot from
the CD after startup.
I can't access the boot menu via HMC1 or HMC2, and I can't even use
serial cable to access the SMS menu.

Any other options ?
