determining active node on hacmp (5.2)

Hello,
I have a hacmp-cluster that starts scripts from crontab.
Those script must (and must only) be run from the active node (from the
node that has the RG online).
How could I check if the RG is online? I want a solution that could be
used on all my hacmp-clusters. I dont want something like "netstat
-i|grep service_ip_label" etc.
Regards,
Holger
