That would be using NFS... Not desirable for a security perspective.
It is actually an add on product. Just search for SFU. You can install
it on most Windows versions like 2000 or XP...

From the Microsoft perspective, you can install Services for UNIX (whichI believe will be part of Windows 2003 R2)
