There was an undocumented command in 5.2 and lower I believe called:
"mkltemp" or something... I believe it was in: "/usr/sbin/" but not sure.
I'm not sure if it's still there.

I believe I can do this with dd

does anyone know the syntax off the top of their head?

I am testing file size limits..
