Re: mkcd error

You're right!
It even sounds familiar, like I've done that before myself.
Thanks a bunch, so far so good.

Hi Mark,

2006/3/24, Mark Schlechte <mschlechte@xxxxxxxxx>:

Need a little help here. For some reason all of my servers are now giving me grief when trying to create dvd mksysb's.

0512-329 mkcd: User specified CD or DVD file system: /mkcd/cd_fs
needs an additional 3260471314 bytes.
Cleaning up...

The failed attempt left some /dev/lv00 filesystems created for /mkcd/cd_fs etc. but I unmounted and removed those.
Any ideas?

I was similat situation and after I remove the 'mkcd' related all LV-s
and remove
the /mkcd directory (rm -rf /mkcd) the next mkcd was success.
(I haven't got time to investigate inside the mkcd script...)
Try it ... may be help.
Cheers, Zoltan
