Need more info as stated.
It could almost be worth; undoing your new mirror config and putting the
bad drive back in and removing it correctly.
ODM issues can be dangerous.

I had a mirror disk replaced and I can not get the old ID
on the bad disk 'reduced' from the volume group.
Whats the best way to clean this up?
