I think winbind is what you are looking for. Never attempted to get it to
work on AIX, but have done it on Linux a few times. Winbind normally
works with PAM and AIX uses LAM, but a search on winbind and AIX should
help you get started.

Samba 3.x on AIX 5.3 using Active Directory
Hi folks,
I'm trying to install Samba 3.x on AIX 5.3 using Active Directory (Windows
2003 server) to authenticate my users...
Anyone know what I need? I found on the Internet that I will need
kerberos... is it true? if yes how to setup kerberos correctly ?
Thanks
