mksysb script

I want to schedule my mksysb's to run afterhours now but I'm not sure how to properly capture the output to a log file.
Does anybody have a script they use?
I generally run a ksh file that just runs:
mksysb -i /dev/rmt0
tctl -f /dev/rmt0 offline
but if someone has something that logs the result and mails success or failure that would be great.
Mark
