I'm running 5.3. I'm also not able to find IY23175, hmm.
/usr/suma/bin/suma -x -a RqType=APAR -a RqLevel= -a Action=Download -a
Repeats=n -a RqName='IY23175'
0500-035 No fixes match your query.
/home/root # instfix -i | grep ML
All filesets for 5.3.0.0_AIX_ML were found.
All filesets for 5300-01_AIX_ML were found.
All filesets for 5300-02_AIX_ML were found.
No automount.

the error 1832-008 refers to Nfs being ran under heavy
stress with the showmount command failing i would
assume you need to apply RECOMMENDATION:
*
* Apply apar IY23175
Is your system current will all filesets:
instfix -i | grep ML
In this case to check say 5100-02 is fully installed
on the system
instfix -ivk 5100-02_AIX_ML |grep not |grep ':'
ALso If running any automount items
in the /etc/rc.nfs
append to the automount line /usr/sbin/automount -f
/etc/auto_master
also int your /etc/netsvc.conf
if all commented out if using ip4
hosts4,bind4
if using ip6
hosts6,bind6
Hope this helps

nothing in my nim install doc.
I'm still getting the same errors. I ipl'ed the
master. I also made sure
the portmapper was running before starting nfs.
