Hi,
incidentally, I just fixed that on one of our LPSRs...
I executed the following commands...
/usr/sbin/rsct/install/bin/uncfgct -n
/usr/sbin/rsct/install/bin/cfgct
the first one removes previous LPAR configuration id
/etc/ct_node_id, the following one adds a unique id to
the LPAR, next start the rsct and rsct_rm daemons...
startsrc -g rsct
startsrc -g rsct_rm
that should get you going...
regards
esv.

I'm trying to use the dlpar functionality in HACMP5.3 and don't get the communication working.
I have generated the ssh-keys so that I'm able tossh from the node to the hmc without a password.
The node name is the same on the hmc profile andhacmp. Only thing is that I don't know how to
edit the /etc/hosts on the HMC (5.1) if thatshould be done?
configured on node eccnode1 is not
Error message from the verification:
ERROR: The HMC with IP label 172.29.1.110
reachable. Make sure the HMC IP address iscorrect, the HMC is
turned on and connected to the network, and theHMC has OpenSSH installed
and setup with the public key of node eccnode1.
