AIX Partitioning - help please

I was asked by my manager to look into AIX partitioning, for
setting up our testing lab.

I have managed a few AIX machines earlier (but mostly into RedHat,
have installed and managed quite a few VMware ESX server though).

We have a IBM System p5 510 box (2 processors). Is this capable of paritioning?

Where can I find some good documents on AIX partitioning? I guess Redbooks is the place to go. Could someone please point me a "How To" guide or some some other basic information?
