Latest beta of nmon is 11d. We have been using this successfully. Try
"a" for Adapter I/O stats.

Hmmm... We have nmon installed but I'm not seeing the flags for Fiber
Channel adapters connected to SAN devices.

Is there a command to view/monitor the traffic on a
fiber channel adapter?
TIA,
Drew
NMON has an option to view such a thing...but that
option is not valid on AIX 5.1

128.ibm.com/developerworks/eserver/articles/analyze_aix/index.html
Also, we monitor the traffic at the switch level via
SNMP and MRTG.

enrique.
