I agree with Tom. But sessions open all night are a resource waste also, as they "drain" memory and processor cycles. As a sysadmin I know who is really working. All other sessions are closed with no questions asked. So, if you are sure they are not there, kill their shells.

Several users leave themselves signed onto our AIX Servers all night.
They go home for the day and they don't sign off.
These servers contain highly critical data.
A domain policy does lock their workstation.
From an AIX/UNIX System Administrator's standpoint, is that a securityissue?
