command to monitor fiber channel adapters? (solved)

Thanks to everyone who replied to this!

Here are the results:

Holger: iostat –a will give you stats
Larry and Ryan: nmon with the a option

Some also suggested using the “datapath query adaptstats” which also works
nicely when running SDD.

Thanks again.

Drew

Latest beta of nmon is 11d. We have been using this successfully. Try "a"
for Adapter I/O stats.

Hmmm... We have nmon installed but I'm not seeing the flags for Fiber
Channel adapters connected to SAN devices.

Is there a command to view/monitor the traffic on a
fiber channel adapter?

TIA,

Drew

NMON has an option to view such a thing...but that
option is not valid on AIX 5.1

Also, we monitor the traffic at the switch level via
SNMP and MRTG.

enrique.
