Sorry, 'from' should have been 'to' in final sentence. Some days I don't
know whether I'm coming or going. Here is corrected question.
We are testing Business Recovery for one of our production AIX 5.2 servers,
and want to prevent outgoing FTPs from the BR server. Commenting out FTP
in inetd.conf just blocked the incoming FTPs. Restricting the permissions
on the file /usr/bin/ftp works, but does not guarantee that all FTPs use
that file. Any suggestions?
Also, is there a way to restrict out-going FTPs to a particular server
while allowing them to others?
