Thanks Simon. This is the procedure I had the FE follow but it did not correct the problem. There were only 2 simms in the system. They are going to take another system to the site and try swapping in the new memory from the new system. This system had only two disks for the rootvg mirrored. Can I take the disk from the old system and put them in the new system and boot it up? Is there some steps I need to do to make this work?
Thanks,
Jim Naylor

The 43P Service Guide is the only source of information on this. It
basically describes removing the memory modules in order to find the faulty
one.
There's no quick and easy way: you'll have to be methodical and you'll end
up booting the system lots of times, potentially.
In my copy of the manual, it's MAP1240 on page 2-12. Don't skimp on the
steps, or try to take shortcuts.

Subject: LED Error Code E301 on p43-150
Hello Admins,
I look all over for this error code and found something about memory but it
referred only to E3xx. I tried pulling out one chip then replacing the one
left in with the one I pulled out but still get the same error on bootup. I
could not find any other reference to this LED code. Anyone have any other
suggestions?
Thanks,
Jim Naylor
