Run 'chlv -x 10240 testlv' to change the max # of LPs to 10240. This will up
the max to 10240.

Admins,
I have an AIX 5.2 system with a Logical Volume "testlv" (jfs2) for
Oracle backups. I try to add more space and get the error msg of MAX
LP's are 512 for LV. Question I have is when I go into a chlv to change
the MAX LP's it is currently set at 512. What can I raise this to or is
there a guideline to follow? Then I imagine I would go into extendlv to
add the additional LP's so I can allocate more space. Thanks for your
help.
Thanks
Larry
