First of all, you need the X11.Dt* filesets installed on your P570,
(primarily X11.Dt.rte). That will be on the AIX Installation CDs.
If you then want to be able to see the full CDE desktop you'll have to
configure ReflectionsX accordingly. I use Exceed so I probably can't help
you much with that, but the main thing I have to do is set the Startup Mode
to XDMCP. There are other options controlling how it interacts with my
Windows desktop.

Subject: CDE and X11
Admins,
I currently have two P570's which are up and running which came
pre-installed. I connect into them via ReflectionsX which works fine for
what I need. I would like to load CDE off of a X session (PC windows 2000)
remotely so that I can setup a few operators to due basic functions with a
front end look. I don't have much information on CDE and did a few
searches. I have tried running xinit /usr/lpp/X11/lib/X11/xdm/Xsession and
or /usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon but neither one works or is there. I think I
need to probably install something more. Does anyone know for sure or have
a do on CDE installation and or where I could get or download the software?
