I can't thank you all enough for your responses. I also apologize my
second posting went to the list. It was intended to be sent to an
individual on the list.
I followed Simon's instructions creating the new volume group and
with a little extra reading and stressing have now completed the task
successfully [except that I have been unable to mirror them -problem
with syncing, but I haven't had a chance to research it yet and have
to leave for the day]....learning a great deal in process.
Wish there was someway to repay or contribute.
