Re: mkcd error - missing filesets



When it creates the bootable image, it tries to include device drivers for
lots of different types of hardware, in case you're recovering on a
different configuration. It's been unable to find some of the filesets it
wants so as it says: it might not be able to boot or restore on some
hardware configurations. It should be fine if you were restoring on the
same server it was created on, or one like it.

With a tape backup, you could clone the system by booting from the
installation CD first. I don't know if you can do that with a CD backup.

I seem to remember seeing a similar post in the past but didn't find it in
the archives.
When I create a mksysb on my dvd-ram disk on a couple of 4.3.3 servers I get
