If you check the archives there will be some reponses to an earlier post I had. I use a script to write a new log file and then email me when it has completed so I can automate it to run at night and then just check the reults the next day.

Did anyone write a script for mksysb and does some logging of date/time maybe a list of files that can share it with others? We are running aix 5.3 on P520's and P570's.
