What if you've added any APARS to your current image? In other words, if
you are running AIX 5.3 TL5 but have recent APARS installed thus raising
the level of some filesets. Could that present a problem as well when
booting from a CD?

Somewhere I think there is a procedure to make a bootable cd image from
your
current system, before you need it of course.
I did that, transfered the .iso to a pc to burn and it worked. Now I'm
worried that I need to do it again, at my current ML....
