Admin,
I have a box running aix 5.1 and need to add a disk to a VG (test). The
problem I am running into is when I try to extendvg I get the error
about the PP per VG is set to 1016. I know the command chvg -t command
I think I would do a T factor of 3 since I need 2500 PP's. My question
is that if I run the command chvg -t 3, I would think that this would
then change the setting to 3048. Is this correct? Also, can I run this
on a live system or will I need to reboot or umount the vg first?
Thx
Larry
