EtherChannel

Aix'ers,
I have a problem with etherchannel. If the system is up and running the I
can failover no problem. If I pull the backup cable out and reboot no
problem, but if I pull the primary cable and reboot the system for some
reason doen't failover to the backup, and I can't ping anything. Once I put
the primary back in the system immedily is back on the network and running
from the backup adapter.
Any one have any clue what is going on? We are running AIX 5.3 TL3 here is
the config for the etherchannel:
Change / Show Characteristics of an EtherChannel / Link Aggregation
Type or select values in entry fields.
Press Enter AFTER making all desired changes.
