Be careful and don't use an easily guessable password. Allow console-only root login. Use SU and SUDO to control superuser access (the latter is a better choice because it permits a more granular control) and protect their logs.Think twice about granting root privileges (know who has access, when and why).
Abraços,

Hi Larry,FBright@xxxxxxxxx 23/10/2006 16:07:23 >>>
Have you tried
chuser maxexpired="-1" root.
This sets the expiration to not expire.

Subject: Root password expiration
Admins,
In my default user settings I have the "Password MAX. AGE" set to 4. I
don't want this setting for the root account. If I want to root account
to not change automatically what would I set this to? I want to change
it on my own when needed. I am not sure what the default (no
expiration) would be.
Thx
Larry
