I performed these steps, already, thinking an nfs issue, not sure if you
have other nfs tricks?



6604 mv /etc/exports /etc/exports.bak

6605 touch /etc/exports

6606 exportfs -ua

6607 stopsrc -g nfs

6608 cd /etc

6609 rm -rf xtab state sm sm.bak rmtab

6610 cd /var/statmon

6611 s -lrt

6612 rm -rf state sm sm.bak

6614 startsrc -g nfs

6615 exportfs -va

6616 exportfs

I'd guess it's an NFS Export problem.

Check the exports from your NIM master. When I've had problems like
this in the past, (not quite the same as yours) I found the best way was
to remove all of the exports and let NIM add them back again. If you've
got exports left over from something else - or created manually for some
reason - sometimes it can get a bit confused and they don't actually get
exported correctly.



My experience of it is mostly with PSSP, so it won't be quite the same
but it's all still NIM.

* It's the status for this lpar, just as NIM gets past the
NIM bootp process.
