Hi Mark,
2006/11/30, Mark Vitale <mark.vitale@xxxxxxxxxxx>:
What could cause the -f option to behave this way? The customer is running'man at' ;)
all this under root, by the way (not my idea or requirement!), so I don't
think it can be a permissions problem. I've also verified that he's using /
usr/bin/at as one would assume.
-f File Uses the specified file as input rather than using standard input.
I've already searched IBM's AIX support site and the list archives but
found nothing to explain this. I am a relative newcomer to AIX, so any
help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Probably your and the customer root shell environment is different and
there is some side effect ...
See these files /etc/profile, /etc/environment /.profile /.kshrc
Cheers, Zoltan
