hi all,

I have a p570 with a shark and a ds6800 connected.
When I make a copy of data (via cp) from ds6800 to Shark , the performance is very bad (around 7500 KB-Writ).
But when this copy is from other host (via rcp) to Shark, this performance is good (around four times that value).

Any ideas about it?
Hello Fagner,
are you using the same HBA for the cp on the Problem-Machine?
What are your minperm/maxperm Settings on the Problem-Machine?
Maybe you haven't enough File-Memory.

Cheers,
