Guys,
We did a DR test at the weekend, which involved the scenario below,
AIX 5.2 TL9
* unmount filesystems, varyoffvg's ; export vg's server A
*
* present disk from machine B
*
* importvg's ; varyonvg's ; mount FS from server B
*
* unmount FS ; varyoffvg's ; exportvg's from server B
* remove disk from server B
*
* importvg's ; varyonvg's ; mount FS original's from server A
Filesystems mounted were mounted as the same name from server B and not
as they were originally.
example
/ghrrptqa/redo_log server A prior to test
/ghrrpt/redo_log server A post test
original server A filesystems are called
/ghrrpt/<whatever>
original server B filesystems are called
/ghrrptqa/<whatever>
The filesystems should of came back as thery were originally called
/ghrrptqa/<whatever> and they have came back as /ghrrpt/<whatever>, any
ideas how this could of happened?
Thanks,
Lee
