Re: ERRPT and ERRLOG problem


Has someone run "errclear 0" recently? That would do it. I might check the
root user's
.sh_history, to see if this has been done.

Did you check that you have free space in the "/var" filesystem?

Also check your root crontab file to see what your cleanup procedures are.

Try this coomand as root user
# errlogger 'test message'

and if you see the new entry in errpt output the errlog system is
working.
