Hi AIXers, I'm having a strange problem. We have an AIX 5.3 server acting as a NIS server, and we have a bunch of Linux Mandrake server using NIS as a client for authentification. The problem we have is if a user try to do a yppasswd to change the password, yppasswd say: Error while changing the NIS password. The NIS password has not been changed on Hesperus. Just after the "Please retype new password:" And the password is of course not changed and still using the old one. With this problem we are unable to change password from a NIS client machine! Anyone have an idea about that? Thanks --
