Re: Error - Samba 3.0.4

On AIX 4.3.3, installed Samba 3.0.4 obtained from the Bull free ware site.

However, executing this command :-

smbclient -L hostname

produces the following error :-

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program smbclient because of the following errors:

0509-150 Dependent module libreadline.so could not be loaded.

0509-022 Cannot load module libreadline.so.

0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

Anyone seen this before? If so, what resolution was found?

Also, is there recommended a Samba version for AIX 4.3.3..I recognize that the latest Samba version will not run on AIX 4.x
