Re: New Hardware Functionality

What is being written about now is never what is being sold for production
systems today. In that sense, you always buy too early. However, I just
replaced an H50 production system with a 510Q. A smaller system, but IIRC,
the H50 is nearly a contemporary of your H80. It should have served it's
purpose and earned it's keep in the time it's been in use.

Conversly, there is a cost premium for the latest technology. You need
enough technology to meet your business need, balanced against cost. Costs
are lower buying "commodity" technology, not bleeding edge.

Remember NASA went to the moon several times on low bid components.
