round-robin mode for AIX's etherchannel.

Folks,

I've been trying to setup a more reliable network
infrastructure for one of cutomer's servers and I
would like to maximize the NIC's usage.

It looks to me that the etherchannel in fail-over mode
provides the best proteciton, but I wonder if the
round-robin mode offers protection and performance on
a single configuration.

Thank you,
enrique.
