I'm not sure about topas, but in NMON, you need to enable collection of
disk io statistics with the command:
chdev -l sys0 -a iostat=true
To display the current settings, type:
lsattr -E -l sys0 -a iostat

Subject: Topas Disk %Busy
Admins,
I have 4 new lpars that I'm testing on a P595. Yesterday, I started
Topas on all the systems, the %Busy columns on all the lpars stayed at
%0.0 and never changed, even with significant disk activity. Does anyone
know why this happens or how to refresh Topas' interface somehow? Or is
this just a bug of some sort? I'm running 5.3 TL06 SP2.
Thanks
Darryl
