...there doesn't seem to be enough info to work with there. We don't have
an IP for renoir, no lsattr output from anything....entstat -d on ent0 and
ent2 would help in troubleshooting.
...also, what is the need for a separate adapter? Do you just need that
other IP on the network? How about creating an alias for it.
Tried running tcpdump when your having problems? You'll likely be in a
"round-robin" configuration for outgoing traffic when you online the second
adapter (as you are in the same subnet w/ both adapters). BUT....if there
is a problem w/ the other adapter, every bit of traffic that gets directed
it's way will have a problem.
Looked at errpt? I'm surprised in my day to day work how much the basic
logs are overlooked (errpt will report on a good many network issues that
most unices will leave you tracking down switch logs to help figure
out....).

well, is the network adapter configured at the right

Sorry, no help here but it looks like you having the
same sort of problem I had.
I haven't had time to try and look at this in any
more detail but the systems are exactly the same.

Hi,
I am having problems configuring two Ethernet
adapters. When I configure
the second adapter I lose some connectivity with the
first adapter. When
I down and detach the second adapter my connectivity
returns. There are
some static routes.
Any ideas? Thanks.
