Ldap user create issue
Hi,
Just configered IBM -TD 5.2 ldap server and client. All seems OK on the
users that were exported on setup..
But when I try and create a new ldap user on the server I get :
# mkuser -R LDAP xtest88
Group "staff" does not exist.
Check "/usr/lib/security/mkuser.default" file.
But the staff group is present in the file ( see below) . Googling this
say's if you have NIS installed you will get this error, but I have no
NIS installed.
Does anybody have any pointers on how to solve this,
Thanks
David
( 5.3 ML 4 )
# more /usr/lib/security/mkuser.default
user:
pgrp = staff
groups = staff
shell = /usr/bin/ksh
home = /home/$USER
Thanks
David
