Hello,
I've just signed up to this mailing list. I'm pretty new to AIX but have
been using z/OS and z/VM for many years. (I miss xedit :-) )
When comparing two (text) files, we use the diff command, but the output is
not particularly "human friendly"... on a Linux system, I have KDESDK and
kompare which shows the two files side-by-side and nicely shows what's
removed/added/changed...
I doubt I will be able to install kdesdk on the AIX 5.3 machine for all
users, but was wondering if it's possible to install it myself on my own ID.
Or... IBM has a web site with all sorts of tools for z/VM CMS... is there a
similar site for contributed AIX tools?
Thanks very much,
Don Russell
