DS4700 Performance Tuning

We have servers running AIX tied up to DS4700's and DS4300's, I am wondering
if you folks would recommend some tuning options like queue_depth etc to
improve I/O as we are running high IO applications.
Is there a tool to monitor the performance on these devices?
