there are no "udp timeouts".
udp is stateless
what info about tcp timeouts do you want that netstat -s does not provide?

Subject: AIX 5.3 tcp ucp timeout and retransmission statistics
I have a number of AIX 5.3 systems.
Fix level is uptodate.
I recently fixed a bug and according to the trace
had a large number of udp timeouts going
to a certain destination. This turned out
to be irrelevant to the bug solution.
However , is it possible to get granular
tcp and ucp timeout and retransmission
statistics ? I have looked at the netstat
statistics and I don't see granular data.
I don't have access to the current equivalent
of HP Openview or Netwiew 6000,
which is/was designed for that.
It would be really informative to get these stats,
both for this issue and others.
Suggestions ?
