Absolutely! On OpenBSD, I normally use the following layout:
/
swap
/var
/usr
/usr/obj
/usr/local
/usr/ports
/usr/X11R6
/users
/vol
While it is possible to combine multiple slices (partitions),
it doesn't solve the problem of giving every jail user his/her
own filesystem(s). It would be great to have a better bsdlabel
for FreeBSD, esp. now with those big drives... ;)
