    Hello,

I've got problems to setup my notebook that my CF Adapter is readable through
a auto mounted device by any ordinary user.

When the card gets plugged in it is recognized as:

May 10 13:43:55 Astor kernel: pccard0: Allocation failed for cfe 0
    May 10 13:43:55 Astor kernel: ata2: <SunDisk SDP> at port 0xa100-0xa10f irq 11 function 0 config 1 on pccard0
    May 10 13:43:55 Astor kernel: ad4: FAILURE - SETFEATURES ENABLE RCACHE status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR> error=4<ABORTED>
    May 10 13:43:55 Astor kernel: ad4: FAILURE - SETFEATURES ENABLE WCACHE status=51<READY,DSC,ERROR> error=4<ABORTED>
    May 10 13:43:55 Astor kernel: ad4: 30MB <SanDisk SDCFH-32> [488/4/32] at ata2-master PIO4

In dmesg the cardbus adapter shows up as:

    [...]
    cbb0: <ENE CB1410 PCI-CardBus Bridge> mem 0x90100000-0x90100fff irq 11 at device 4.0 on pci2ed 0x1000 bytes for rid 0x10 type 3 at 0x90100000
    cardbus0: <CardBus bus> on cbb0
    pccard0: <16-bit PCCard bus> on cbb0
    isab0: <PCI-ISA bridge> at device 31.0 on pci0
    [...]

Although errors the device can be manually mounted.

Using 5.2. I'm unable to start pccardd due to missing /dev/card0 which
checked for existance in /etc/rc.d/pccard. Is there a way to have devd/
    devfs provide this entry?

    TIA -- Peter
